Handy Pantry Sprouting Seeds Broccoli sprouts have high levels of sulforaphane, a compound that research has found has anti-cancer properties. This seed has a great germination rate. Soak 6 to 8 hrs in 4 part water ( warm water ) to 1 part seed. Small seed 3 to 4 hrs, rinse and drain,spread evenly in sprouter, sprouts must be rinsed 2 to 3 times a day keep out of light until 3 or 4 days.
